An introductory level workshop providing a learning opportunity for both experienced and young professionals to develop their understanding of the uses of lump sum payments versus Periodical Payment Orders (PPOs). Looking at how to reserve, manage payments and administration as well as the reinsurance ramifications.
On completion of the course delegates will have a knowledge of the basis and techniques and purposes of reserving; individual case reserving; how to record and monitor individual claim developments; data collection and organisation; estimating reinsurance recoveries. They will be able to assess and understand the significance of actuarial and mathematical reserving reports prepared for them, and the reasonableness of the figures proposed.
AMS CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY – Payments must be made to AMS (Outsourcing) Services Limited by BACS prior to registration acceptance. Cancellation and refund of monies paid will not be permitted any later than 14 working days prior to the event. In the event of cancellation less than 14 working days, or any non-attendance, all monies will remain due. If the cancellation of any AMS run event occurs due to circumstances beyond the control of AMS, any monies paid by you will not be refundable (and any monies due from you will remain due) to the extent that AMS has paid or has committed to pay the costs of running the event and cannot itself obtain reimbursement. In all circumstances where interest exists AMS will attempt to run the event once again. AMS is not responsible for any travel or other costs incurred by registrants. NO liability is assumed by AMS for changes in the programme date, content, speakers or venue. Transfers may be made up to 24 hours of the course date.
