Overview
An introductory workshop providing delegates with information on the financing solutions available to the re/insurance legacy market, how these are structured & documented, and how they can add value for acquirers. The aim of the session is to encourage delegates to reach a basic understanding of how acquirers can leverage legacy financing solutions as an effective corporate finance tool and the key considerations involved.

Target audience
The session is aimed at all market participants with an interest in the re/insurance legacy transaction sector and it will also appeal to those with an interest in corporate finance concepts and financial markets in general.

By the end of the session, delegates may:
• Display awareness of the capital and financing considerations from an acquirer’s perspective when exploring legacy deals
• Be aware of the various types of financing solutions available to the re/insurance legacy market
• Recognise the range of structural and legal considerations of legacy financing solutions
